Gonna give it a shot...

I've decided it's about time I learn to sew! I have a box of old vintage dresses and I'm quite a collector of many I can't wear or won't wear until I cut them shorter...which usually ruins them! So I'm taking a plunge and I'm gonna do it right this time! I found a fabulous pattern on ebay, which should be on its way to my mailbox... I've also bid on some crazy fabrics!



I'm gonna try this pattern in a shorter version, I promised a long "midnight blue" for Dryden! haha- I have a gorgeous white chiffon fabric with printed gold leaves, I think it will be perfect for this pattern!

I am so in love with Disco dresses!! I've found several online and studied the construction, doesn't seem too complicated...Here are a few others I am going to try to make!! Wish Me Luck...and maybe I'll make you something someday!
